ABOUT ANNI

A pan-African, non-profit, non-political movement built on the belief that every person on the continent deserves awareness, access to care, and hope, regardless of income or location.

Awareness Access Hope

About ANNI — Who We Are

Africa NeuroCare & NeuroResearch Initiative (ANNI) is a mission-driven nonprofit initiative focused on improving neurohealth care outcomes across African communities through practical prevention, stronger referral pathways, and locally relevant research.

ANNI works at the intersection of community education, early risk screening, lifestyle-based self-management, and African-led neuroresearch, with a commitment to responsible data use and ethical partnership.

Through partnerships with clinicians, academic institutions, and community organisations, ANNI aims to expand awareness of neurological conditions, promote early recognition of warning signs, strengthen follow-up and continuity of care, and support research that reflects African realities.

ANNI is pan-African, non-profit, and non-political — founded on the belief that every person on the continent deserves awareness, access to care, and hope, regardless of income or location.

Our Vision

An Africa Where Brain Health is a Right

An Africa where every person, regardless of income or location, has access to timely neuro care, early diagnosis, and evidence-based interventions that protect brain health and improve quality of life.

Our Mission

Community. Science. Faith. Action.

ANNI advances brain and nerve health across Africa by combining community awareness, affordable screening, lifestyle-focused prevention, faith-centred spiritual support, and high-impact neuroscience research — in collaboration with African and global partners.
