Advancing neuroscience research
and health equity
ANNI Africa NeuroCare is a research-driven neuroscience and health equity organization generating evidence-based insights to improve neurological health outcomes through research, education, and cross-sector partnerships.
We begin in the United States — building research foundations that scale globally.

From diagnosis to purpose
In July 2025, after multiple hospital visits, Christina was diagnosed with Moyamoya disease — a rare cerebrovascular condition affecting blood flow to the brain.
That diagnosis became the foundation of ANNI Africa NeuroCare — a research-driven organization advancing neurological health equity through evidence, partnerships, and lived experience.
Your story is not over. Your dreams are still valid.— Christina Gaisie
A Continent Underserved
in Brain Health
Neurological conditions — including epilepsy, stroke, dementia, and mental health disorders — are among the leading causes of disability in Africa.
Access to specialist care remains critically limited across many regions.
